Our Principal

Joshua Perlman, Principal

Joshua Perlman was named the principal of Whitemarsh Elementary School starting with the 2021-2022 school year. As an educational leader, he prioritizes providing students with a safe and equitable learning environment to help them grow and to encourage all students to be successful.

Mr. Perlman comes to Colonial from the Abington School District, where he taught grades two and four at Copper Beech Elementary School before moving into administration as an elementary curriculum specialist and later building principal at Overlook Elementary School. Prior to entering education, he spent five years in marketing for Fleer Trading Cards.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University, a Master of Education from Holy Family University, and Educational Leadership Certification from Delaware Valley College.
