Plymouth Whitemarsh High School artists sweep Week Without Violence Poster Contest

Congratulations to the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School students Andrew Fisher, Zoey Robinson, and Gabrielle Tiedeken for taking the top three prizes in the 8th Annual Week Without Violence Youth Art Contest, sponsored by the YWCA Tri-County Area.

This year’s theme was "Safe Beginnings: Protecting Mothers, Nurturing Futures". Judges critiqued the artwork based on creativity, neatness, originality, following the theme, and visual effectiveness.

Andrew Fisher's "Where Care Grows Violence Cannot" took first place, Zoey Robinson's "Hidden Pain Needs Gentle Hearts" second, and Gabrielle Tiedeken's "Take the Weight off her Shoulders" third in the high school division. The three are photo majors taking the Photo 2 Honors class at PWHS.
